Introverts Travel Diary

Not really a solo travel adventure but something I still wanted to write about. Travelled down to Southampton this weekend to see Tom Jones. Have been so excited for this, although I'm not solo as my mum & step dad live in Southampton. I stayed with them and went to the concert with them. It was fab!  Got the train from Swanick into Southampton Central at around midday. Only about a 40min journey which wasn't too bad. Went to a nice pub when we got there and had a pint, then decided to go to Brewdog for lunch and another pint but of course as soon as we started walking the heavens opened and we got drenched! Never ruined our day though as lunch was yummy 😋.  Walked on towards the venue in the centre and had another drink before the gates opened. Tom Jones came on around 8pm and did a full set for about 2 hrs, he was absolutely brilliant, considering he is 84 his voice is still incredible.
