12th July 2025 – Travel Day to Prague . Early morning flight as always, although it makes you super tired as you get up at 1.45 am to get ready, drive to the airport, park and check in etc ready for our 6am flight it is well worth it! We flew with Wizz , which personally I haven’t had any issues with was a smooth flight there, landed at around 9am, got to our pre booked taxi, something you don’t need to do in Prague as public transport is cheap but I am lazy and like to have everything sorted so I don’t need to worry about finding which bus/ train I need to catch and have any unnecessary stress. We arrived at our hotel ( hotel Amarilis ) around 9.30/10am but were unable to check in (CI is at 14.00) but we were able to leave our bags safely and go for a walk round the city. It was about a 5min walk to the new town & 10 min walk to the old town. The weather was a bit cloudy and a little bit of drizzle but was still really warm and muggy, around 25 degrees.
